A pool pump schedule not working may be a control conflict rather than a failed timer. The pump, automation panel, and app can display different programs. First establish which device actually commands the pump.
A mechanical pool timer not working can have three different failures: the dial does not advance, the trippers do not switch, or the pump does not respond. Check which one is happening before replacing the clock mechanism. Manual operation and automatic timing are separate functions.

A pool pump lid stuck in place is a reason to check the system state and lid mechanism before adding force. Stop the pump, isolate power, and follow the prescribed pressure relief procedure. If it has run dry or become hot, don’t open it immediately.
